Rehabilitation Assistant – Neurological Rehabilitation Team

Beyond Physiotherapy is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Rehabilitation Assistant to join our Neurological Rehabilitation Team. This role is part time and involves working closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to support patients through their rehabilitation and recovery journey.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with neurological and senior populations and must be comfortable in a physically active, hands-on clinical environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physiotherapists and clinicians in implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Support patients during therapy sessions while ensuring safety and proper exercise techniques
  • Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring equipment is cleaned, organized, and ready for use
  • Monitor patient responses during treatment sessions and communicate concerns to supervising clinicians
  • Educate and guide patients with prescribed home exercises and functional activities
  • Assist with clinic operations including scheduling support, patient flow management, organization, and cleaning duties
  • Help maintain a positive, professional, and patient-focused clinical environment

Qualifications

  • Rehabilitation Assistant Certification required
  • Experience working with neurological rehabilitation and/or senior populations preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary clinical setting
  • Physically capable of assisting patients with mobility, transfers, exercises, and functional activities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
