Basic Job Requirements:
Previous registry experience is strongly preferred but we may also train the right person.
Superior customer skills to build rapport with clients and an ability to interact with customers in a friendly, articulate, and professional manner
Willing and able to learn quickly and to grow as you expand your areas of expertise
A working knowledge of computers as evidenced by a degree of technological intuitiveness
Able to learn, interpret and deliver numerous and complex Alberta Registry policies and procedures
Positive & outgoing attitude and an ability to work as a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask and follow-up on tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
A clear criminal record check
Ability and willingness to work Saturdays
Some of the Specific Duties:
Performing front counter registry services. These include renewing Registrations & Driver Licenses, printing Drivers Abstracts, performing vision tests, processing Driver Licence applications.
Performing front counter Vital Statistics services including Marriage Licence applications, Birth Certificates, Legal Name Changes, etc.
Performing front counter Lien Searches and Land Title Searches
Corporate Registry Searches
Processing and reconciling payments on a daily basis using registry software
Answering phones & booking road tests
