In this temporary full-time role, you’ll lead person-centered nursing practices as you assess and implement care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The successful RPN will ensure adherence to the principles set out in the Fixing Long-Term Care Act while maintaining thorough documentation and delivering medications safely and effectively. Building relationships with residents and families is key to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, compassionate person-centered nursing care
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
• Document assessments and follow-up care appropriately
• Provide medications and treatments as per policies
• Promote hygiene and infection prevention practices
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Knowledge of documentation requirements
• Willingness to follow Home policies and procedures
