Exciting position for a Registered Nurse at the Donor Centre! Enhance donor experiences while actively participating in the safe collection of blood and blood products.
You will play a key role in managing the donor registration process and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This position allows you to exercise your communication abilities and interpersonal skills while supporting a diverse team environment. Your guidance will be essential in coaching staff and facilitating both fixed and mobile donation events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support blood collection and documentation processes
• Conduct confidential screenings and registrations for donors
• Provide coaching to staff at collection events
• Set up donor clinics at community locations
• Offer valuable information to enhance the donor experience
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current license
• Ideally two years of nursing experience in a relevant field
• First Aid and CPR certification is beneficial
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook essential
• A second language is a plus
