Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including experience in various medical settings such as acute care, long-term care, and emergency medicine. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Perform procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and phlebotomy as needed.
- Maintain compliance with infection control standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care delivery.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or other relevant specialties preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and documentation standards..
- Strong clinical skills including airway management, medication administration, and acute pain management.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or geriatric patients.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Experience in specialized areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, or trauma medicine is desirable.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $77,500.00 per year
