We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage therapy services to our clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
– Perform various types of massages including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy massages
– Assess clients’ needs and recommend appropriate massage techniques
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the massage rooms and common areas
– Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy
– Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
– Keep accurate client records and notes
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Massage Therapist
– Proficient in medical terminology related to massage therapy
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
– Certification or license as a Massage Therapist (CMTO)
– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Nice-to-Have Skills:
– Knowledge of different massage modalities
– Experience in spa or wellness center settings
– Additional certifications in specialized massage techniques
