Crystal Vision & Better Hearing is seeking a Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner to join our growing team in Prince George, British Columbia. About the Role
As a Hearing Instrument Practitioner, you will play a vital role in improving patients’ quality of life through comprehensive hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, patient education, and ongoing hearing healthcare support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting hearing evaluations and assessments.
- Recommending, fitting, and programming hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Providing patient counseling, education, and follow-up care.
- Building strong relationships with patients, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program.
- Registered and in good standing with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
- Strong clinical, counseling, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with audiometric equipment and hearing aid technology.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
