multidisciplinary

clinic in Nova Scotia and specializes in occupational rehabilitation. Our new facility includes a large, well-equipped, spacious gym with natural lighting, multiple private treatment rooms and a large conference room. We are located in the new Valley Crossroads Professional Center, home to multiple physicians, a pharmacy, optometry clinic, and Cumin restaurant.

Our

interdisciplinary

team is comprised of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Kinesiologists and a Pedorthotist. We collaborate with physicians regularly to provide optimum client centered care and evidence based practice to our

diverse

If you have clinical experience with a variety of conditions and you enjoy working both autonomously and as part of an

interdisciplinary

healthcare team, we welcome you as a professional who will excel as a part of CBI Health. As a Registered Counselling Therapist within CBI Health’s Rehabilitation Outpatient team, you will be responsible for the provision of clinical services for patients referred for counselling services.

This will include consultation, evaluation, assessment, interventions, monitoring of progress/outcomes and discharge with individuals and/or groups. The caseload consists of patients who are either self-referred, referred by a physician, or referred by a third-party payer or a public agency. What you will need to be successful:

Hold a master’s, doctoral or equivalent graduate degree in Counselling Psychology or Social Work Be currently registered and in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists Maintain individual professional liability/malpractice insurance Have relevant clinical practice experience, including clinical experience in the assessment and provision of appropriate intervention with a variety of conditions Be able to work both autonomously and as part of an

interdisciplinary

healthcare team Be efficient and responsive in the provision of required clinical documentation Demonstrate a work ethic, reliability, maturity and

flexibility
