Hybrid Role:

This role supports a hybrid work schedule. The ideal candidate will work directly with the HR Business Partner supporting our Vancouver Island locations. Some in-office work will be required, with the majority happening out of your home office.

What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the Recruiter will be responsible for partnering closely with multiple stakeholders to maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for our various business demands. Responsibilities also include tracking recruiting metrics, building innovative sourcing strategies led by data and market intelligence, lead a selection process with an emphasis on D&I best practices, elevate employer branding initiatives and partner closely with colleagues and key stakeholders through the hiring journey.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or Human Resources field preferred, but not required.

Minimum 3 years of related recruiting experience required, technical roles experience a plus

Minimum 3 years full life-cycle hiring experience, preferably within an in-house recruitment team

Recruiting for all levels of talent, recruiting for warehouse and heavy-duty diesel technicians is preferred, automotive/truck industry a plus

Experience closing candidates and negotiating complex compensation packages

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with employees, stakeholders, candidates, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Ability to identify and leverage data to drive and influence decisions (Must be proficient in Excel)

Ability to work cross-functionally within a fast-paced and complex international organization

Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills

Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
