About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Recruiter passionate about building a diverse, exceptional team of top-notch performers. You will play a vital role in shaping our company culture and building an outstanding team to drive Pontosense’s growth and success. As someone excited about the prospect of owning the recruiting process from end-to-end, you are strategic in your approach to hiring and are always looking for ways to improve and optimize recruiting operations. In short, you will become our team’s foundation, providing a strong talent base for which Pontosense will grow.

Please Note: This is a hybrid position and is based in our Toronto office.

As a Recruiter, you will:

Partner with hiring managers to develop and implement a comprehensive hiring strategy that reflects Pontosense’s business objectives

Understand the current and future hiring needs of each functional area of the organization and maintain a proactive approach to their recruitment needs

Utilize various recruitment methods, including social media, job boards, referrals, and networking events to attract and engage top talent

Provide an exceptional candidate experience by delivering timely, thoughtful, and helpful updates and feedback

Negotiate job offers, compensation packages, and benefits with candidates

Maintain accurate candidate data and metrics while researching innovative recruitment strategies and creative solutions to generate a high-quality candidate pipeline while promoting more efficient hiring processes

Onboard and offboard employees, including new hire orientation and ensuring the proper legal employment documentation is filled out, including exit process counseling

Provide expert advice and counsel to the team on talent acquisition best practices, including the use of tools, systems, etc

Help build and promote Pontosense’s employer brand

Develop and manage the recruiting budget

What we’re looking for:

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field

Work experience:A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience
