At Columbia View Lodge, we are seeking dedicated candidates for our Adult Day Services Program. As a Recreation Therapy Worker, you will assist residents in participating in social, physical, and spiritual activities, helping to enhance their daily experiences. Your keen observations will provide valuable insights to support ongoing improvements in our programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with transportation to and from programs
• Lead engaging leisure therapy activities for groups
• Facilitate one-to-one and customized group sessions
• Observe resident progress and share insights with supervisors
• Contribute to the development of impactful therapy programs
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion
• Two years of related experience
• Completion of a recognized recreation course
• Combine education, training, and experience effectively
• Passion for enhancing geriatric residents’ quality of life
