Receiver/Warehouse Associate

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and working in collaboration with Canduct personnel, this position is responsible for supporting the material handling requirements of the receiving, warehouse/inventory, recycle, and production tasks with the manufacturing facility.

This opportunity is for the Day Shift, Monday to Friday from 7AM to 4PM EST.

Responsibilities:

Complete receiving and inventory transactions accurately in the ERP system.

Physical count and cross check of receiving material with accompanying paperwork.

Labelling of material and move to proper inventory location.

Operate forklift in a safe manner at all times.

Picking/packing raw materials for customer orders.

Investigate and suggest process improvements.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Communicate, in a timely manner, low/high inventory items to the buyer.

Accurate and efficient delivery of material to production cells.

Removal of pallets from production floor to appropriate disposal units.

Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities related to product, process, and quality.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

2 – 3 years receiving within a warehouse/manufacturing environment

Current transferrable forklift license required.

Highly organized to plan your day and prioritize your workload meeting all deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction

Must be able to work unsupervised and take full ownership of the job.

Effective communication skills to clearly communicate with other team members and customers

Strong work ethic and desire to be part of a high-performing team

Ability to problem solve and multitask to meet scheduled and unexpected deadlines

Elevated level of attention to detail

Ability to work with a sense of urgency while moving from one task to another promptly with smooth transition and efficiency

Works well independently or in a team environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
