Maxx Liquidation Marketplace helps companies to sell off their overstock, undelivered and returned merchandise. Our website (www.maxx.ca) is our marketplace for consumers and wholesale customers to find all kinds of merchandise at great prices. Established in 2012, we are family-owned and proudly 100% Canadian.

RECEIVER
This full-time position involves unloading merchandise from trucks using a pump truck, inspecting goods for sale, placing products on shelves and tagging products with bar codes. Once your training has been completed, you will also help to create product listings on our website and get involved with general warehouse duties and more. It’s a dynamic environment where there’s always interesting work to do. You won’t be bored!
Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new skills. There is also some physical lifting required (up to ~ 20 kg). Maxx offers a 4 day, 40-hour workweek, 8am – 6:30pm Tuesday to Friday, with a $26.53/hr starting wage and potential wage increases every 3 months. We provide a comprehensive Benefits Plan that covers Dental, Vision, Prescription, Life Insurance, etc. and we also offer a profit-sharing plan that can add 10+% to your regular pay, once you qualify.
Your Qualifications
· High school diploma.
· 1-3 years or more of experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally in a warehouse environment.
· Candidates must be positive, reliable, conscientious and hard-working.
· Team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
· Strong communication skills (oral and written) are required; language is English.
· Candidates must be able to lift boxes and items up to 20 kg in weight.
