Receiving Department? Our large, national client is currently looking for a Receiver/Material Handler to join their growing team. This is a temporary to a permanent role. With A1 attendance, this will turn into a permanent, full-time role. In this role, you will be manually receiving products, manually breaking down skids, manually putting products away, and, using an RF scanner.
There will be times when you will need to operate a forklift, so an EXTERNAL FORKLIFT license is required with a minimum of 2 years of experience. This is a straight day shift in Pickering, ON – Monday to Friday 7:15 AM – 3:45 PM and this role will turn into a permanent position for the right candidate. The rate of pay is $22.55 per hour.
This opportunity is for a forklift operator who enjoys working with their hands as the job is 80% manual work and 20% Forklift Operation (counterbalance) If this is of interest, please read on and see if you qualify. Advantages YOUR Advantages:

Responsibilities
Your
Duties:
• Working with the receiving team to ensure the smooth transition of goods entering the facility
• Moving products using counterbalance trucks, as well as Raymond Reach trucks – EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY
• Manual labour required – May be lifting up to 50lbs
• 20% of the time will be on a forklift (this is not a straight forklift role) Qualifications Your
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse environment with a minimum of 2 years counterbalance forklift and/or Raymond Reach EXTERNAL CERTIFICATION is a plus but will accept internal certifications
• Work well within a team
• Great verbal and written
communication
with
attention to detail
• Must be serious about working safely
• Dependable and ready to work 5 days per week
