Job Summary
Healthmedica Guelph is seeking a Receptionist/Physical Therapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This dual-role position involves managing front desk operations, and supporting physical therapy services. The ideal candidate will have a previous background in physiotherapy and/or medical reception , possess strong organizational and communications skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage check-in/check-out procedures at the front desk
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Assist physical therapists with patient care activities, including setting up treatment areas, assisting with modalities when needed and supporting therapeutic exercises
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area and treatment spaces
- Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and handling billing inquiries as needed
Skills
- Prior experience in physiotherapy and/or medical reception
- Strong knowledge of patient care procedures and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient well-being
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, records, and administrative duties effectively

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
