We are seeking a friendly and efficient Service Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering a positive dining experience by assisting guests, handling food and beverage orders, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Preparing food, maintaining sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Support team members with additional tasks such as restocking supplies or cleaning as required
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, including serving and cashiering roles
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
