Mativ – Scapa is a global supplier of bonding solutions and a manufacturer of adhesive-based products for the Healthcare and Industrial markets. Our Renfrew Site is currently accepting applications for a full-time Lab Technician within our Quality Department.
Position and Responsibilities:
· Perform sampling and testing of tape product following specific methods using a variety of equipment and measuring devices.
· Document and report test results on paper and electronically.
· Raise concerns to the QA manager based on test results and observing the daily manufacturing operations.
· Take actions by reporting, holding and releasing materials and products, following our current practices.
· Occasionally sort/inspect material.
· Manage the holds program according to our current procedures.
· Other Lab related tasks as required.

Qualifications:
· A minimum of grade 12 education is required, further related education preferred.
· Experience in a Lab or manufacturing environment is preferred.
· Good analytical and mathematical skills.
· Basic computer skills.
· Keen observation skills and detail oriented.
· Able to work under minimum supervision.
· Able and willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts, days/nights.
Shifts / Hours of Work:
Twelve (12) Hour Rotating Shift only. The hours of work consist of an average of 42 hours per week on a 24/7 rotating shift basis.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $44,000.00 per year
