Title: Quality Control Technician
Type of Work: MANUFACTURING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager
Date: 1/19/2026
Quality Control Technician Job Duties:
This role is integral to the success and quality of our products. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be inspecting our products in every stage, from materials purchased to pre-production through manufacturing and post-production, as well as maintaining important documentation.
- Communicating issues
- Product testing
- Spot Checking in production
- Paperwork and data entry responsibility
- Perform additional tasks as needed
- 6S responsibility of daily items to complete before going home

- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, including shifting between field time on the production floor and data entry in the office or on a wireless tablet without guidance
- Ability to read design plans; blueprints
- Effective communication skills with field technicians
- Able to successfully work independently with limited management oversight
- Expert use and read a tape measure (metric and imperial system)
- Expert use of a speed square
- Keen eye for color differences
- Keen eye for deformities, nonconformance, and imperfections.
A majority of your workweek in this role will be standing on your feet. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Quality Control Technician Required:
- Prior experience with architectural drawings
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Must be highly proactive, customer-focused, trustworthy, and have integrity
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs.
- Practice safe machine shop practices and comply with safety standards
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Compensation:
- $22 – $28 (entry level with career advancement opportunities)
