Salary: $85,000–$90,000 -Onsite role

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead plant-level quality operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing inspection and testing from incoming materials through dock audit, maintaining ISO-compliant quality systems, leading audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on quality leader with strong technical expertise, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team, including hiring, training, performance management, and corrective actions

• Own and maintain the plant Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015)

• Lead internal and external audits (ISO, customer, regulatory) and manage certification renewals

• Oversee product testing, inspections, MRB activities, and non-conformance resolution

• Champion customer complaints and supplier quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action

• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive defect reduction initiatives

• Ensure calibration, MSA/GRR, SPC, and statistical controls are effectively implemented

• Prepare quality reports, certifications, and customer compliance documentation

• Act as the plant “voice of the customer” on all quality-related matters

• Support continuous improvement projects across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory

• Promote a strong safety culture and participate in all Health & Safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field

• Minimum 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment

• Prior supervisory or management experience

• Formal training and hands-on experience with ISO 9001:2015 and internal auditing

• Strong working knowledge of quality tools (SPC, MSA, root cause analysis, Lean)

• Experience with industry standards and regulatory requirements

• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel required)

• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
