ARC Business Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a QA Automation Tester for a one year contract in Edmonton, AB. Remote work acceptable.
ROLE: QA Automation Tester
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing application testing services for web-based software development projects
- Minimum 2 year of experience developing and executing automated UI and API tests
- Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum software development environments
- Experience executing system, integration, regression, and UAT testing
- Experience deriving test cases from user stories, functional specifications, and non-functional requirements
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Postman, BrowserStack or equivalent, and TestNG or similar frameworks
- Experience testing REST APIs and web services
- Experience with defect tracking and Agile management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
- Experience with SQL and backend data validation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience testing large-scale public sector or educational web platforms
- Experience with accessibility testing and WCAG compliance validation
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment testing
- Experience with responsive web testing and mobile device validation
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted web applications and modern DevOps practices
- Experience with Git or similar source control systems
