AGAT Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Technician for our PVT Lab in Calgary, Alberta. This role involves conducting specialized experiments and maintaining precise sample integrity.
In this second-level position, you will support the Laboratory Manager while executing key laboratory services. Responsibilities include performing standard and advanced PVT experiments, managing reservoir fluid samples, and operating sophisticated laboratory equipment. Your contributions will enhance laboratory accuracy and efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform PVT experiments: SSF, GOR, CCE, DL
• Maintain reservoir fluid samples with strict protocols
• Operate high-pressure PVT cells and ovens
• Troubleshoot and calibrate essential lab equipment
• Prepare internal test summaries and technical reports
Requirements:
• Technical Diploma or Science Degree required
• 0-5 years of laboratory work experience
• Experience in oil or PVT labs preferred
• Intermediate MS Office and LIMS skills
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds consistently
