Position Title: Purchaser

Escape is growing!
Escape Trailer is a unique RV travel trailer manufacturer located in Chilliwack, BC. We have manufactured trailers for over 18 years and we are searching for a Manufacturing Purchaser to join our supply chain division. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in manufacturing environments, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and possess a positive attitude. Essential duties & requirements include:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Building & negotiating vendor relationships
Forecasting business needs
Delegation of tasks to team members
Creating purchase orders
Coach & train team members
Working independently and with a team
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Excellent communication and people skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Strong analytical skills
Manufacturing purchasing experience
Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
SALARY/VACATION/BENEFITS:
We offer a generous compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits available after the probation period.
