We need someone who can help us get earned media coverage for our clients.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- JOURNALISM EXPERIENCE.
You've written articles for a general news, tech or business publication. Maybe you even held down a journalism job for years and are looking to make a switch to PR. You've got some excellent news writing samples we can look at.
- CANADIAN. Cuz we're Canadian, eh?
NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- PR experience
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Write, edit, send and publish press releases and media pitches
- Coordinate public relations activities, including reactive media requests, interviews, and speaking opportunities
- Build media lists and cultivate relationships with journalists
- Work with the team and clients to brainstorm compelling story angles and campaigns
- Pitch press releases and client stories to reporters
- Monitor and report on PR campaigns
