OT is a community-based occupational therapy practice servicing Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Established in 1998,
Modern
OT has grown to be a team with more than 35 OTs, has broadened virtual and group therapy services, and has established OT clinics in Ottawa, Kingston, and Pembroke. In 2022,
Modern
OT partnered with Lifemark Health Group, which has led to further expansion of services offered to clients, including veterans and Canadian Forces members, First Res ponders, and other individuals facing physical and mental health barriers to their daily life.
Modern
OT has positions available for OTs practicing in psychotherapy and mental health. These positions are supported by our Mental Health Clinical OT Lead and our robust compliment of assessments and treatment resources in the field of mental health.
What do you need to succeed?
Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
Clinical experience is an asset in the area of psychotherapy and OT mental health.
Additional continuing
education
with a focus on mental health skills is an asset.
Proficiency in computer skills.
Excellent written and verbal
communication skills
.
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
Bilingualism – French and English are assets.
