Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team in providing high-quality care to our clients/residents. As a PSW, you will be responsible for assisting clients/residents with activities of daily living, promoting their independence and well-being, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients/residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Support clients/residents with mobility and transferring, using safe techniques and equipment as needed.
Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders, adhering to individual care plans.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Observe and report changes in clients’/residents’ condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Foster a supportive and respectful relationship with clients/residents and their families, promoting dignity and autonomy.
Requirements:
Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate program.
Current certification in First Aid and CPR.
Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation may be required.
