Property Staff Jobs in Buckingham, VA at The Bridge Ministry
The Bridge Ministry is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works in Virginia to transform the lives of troubled men and their families by providing vocational skills, education, and the relationships they need to bridge the gap from addiction to productive community and family life. Students are all male and range in age from 18-60+.
The Bridge is currently looking to hire multiple full-time and part-time property staff members to oversee the property and students. The positions are for:
Shift 1: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Shift 2: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Shift 3: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Some positions require Saturday and/or Sunday work. Part-time positions are for only Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities include:
- Assure students are in their assigned areas
- Monitor the 17 acre property
- Assure all buildings are secure, as needed
- Complete simple reports, as needed
- Follow Student Handbook rules while monitoring students
- Perform room, building, or student checks as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be responsible and honest
- Must be willing to listen and follow directions
- Must arrive to work on time
- Must be able to pass drug screening prior to employment and randomly throughout employment
- No experience necessary, pay increases with experience
- No smoking or vaping on property
Pay starts at $19 per hour and increases after probationary period.
