Day-to-day Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Facilities Project Manager to join our client locally in Vancouver, on a contractual basis. This role will require you to be working on-site in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 5-years of experience within facilities

project management

, and should have experience running and overseeing a project consisting of moving a manufacturing and warehouse facility to an entirely new location.

This role is unique in the sense that the current manufacturing and warehouse facility is fully operational so it is imperative there is minimal downtime and disruption throughout the project.

You will

be working with five different departments who will be impacted most by the facility move and understand their requirements for the new facility. The key areas of the project will be equipment move, technology and infrastructure set-up, cut-over planning to minimize downtime, and

change management

for the impacted work force.

Must have

s- A minimum of 5-years’ experience overseeing facilities projects

– Experience running a warehouse/manufacturing facility move from one location to another

Ability to

work with various groups of stakeholders to understand their requirements/needs

– Cut-Over experience of currently operational facilities to minimize disruption

Ability to

run discovery conversations for both equipment and technology needsPlusses

– Retail manufacturing/warehouse project experience
