About MSCP
MSCP Heat Management Solutions is a rapidly evolving organization built as a system of interdependent processes and not as a traditional hierarchy. Estimating, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and field execution operate as a connected entity, each contributing to the overall flow of work.
Our focus is not on maximizing efficiency; we focus on managing our chosen constraints and improving total system throughput. This requires a shared conceptual foundation grounded in systems thinking, Theory of Constraints, and practical application in industrial environments.
Our work spans different industrial sectors, including oil & gas, where mechanical reliability, constructability, and repeatability are critical. Strong theoretical understanding is valued as it leads to clear, executable, and scalable solutions.
Role Overview
The Project Director is responsible for overseeing operating sites with a primary mandate of expanding MSCP’s footprint, increasing scope of work, strengthening client relationships, and elevating our strategic presence at site level.
While maintaining continuous communication with Project Managers and operational leaders, the Project Director is not the person focused on day-to-day field execution. Execution is managed by capable site leadership.
The Project Director’s distinct responsibility is to operate at a higher level:
-
Interface with senior client decision-makers
-
Identify unmet needs and new opportunities
-
Position MSCP as a long-term strategic partner
-
Translate relationships into expanded work scope
-
Ensure multiple sites are progressing commercially and operationally
This role is central to MSCP’s long-term scalability. This is not a maintenance role. It is a growth role.
The Project Director will be a driving force in helping MSCP scale beyond conventional contractor models and deepen strategic relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategic Presence
-
Build trusted working relationships with Asset Managers, Maintenance Managers, Operations Leaders, and other senior decision-makers
-
Represent MSCP professionally at site and executive levels
-
Develop a deep understanding of client priorities, pain points, and upcoming needs
-
Ensure MSCP is viewed as a value-adding long-term partner rather than a transactional contractor
Growth & Scope Expansion
-
Identify opportunities to expand MSCP’s services, presence, and influence across assigned sites
-
Convert existing site relationships into broader maintenance, turnaround, project, and specialty work opportunities
-
Recognize adjacent opportunities beyond current scopes of work
-
Contribute directly to revenue growth and long-term account development
Multi-Site Stewardship
-
Maintain oversight of 3+ assigned sites simultaneously
-
Ensure strong communication flow between site teams and MSCP leadership
-
Anticipate risks, relationship issues, and operational barriers before they escalate
-
Support coordinated decision-making across sites
Operational Alignment (Not Daily Execution)
-
Remain informed through consistent communication with Project Managers and leadership
-
Support removal of barriers impacting performance or client satisfaction
-
Ensure commitments made externally align with internal capability
-
Elevate systemic issues requiring organizational support
Commercial & Value Proposition Leadership
-
Clearly articulate the unique value MSCP brings to clients, including responsiveness, quality, capability depth, integrated delivery, and long-term partnership value
-
Participate in commercial discussions, planning conversations, and strategic meetings
-
Help clients understand where MSCP can solve larger problems than the immediate task at hand
Leadership in a Growing Organization
-
Help shape and mature this new role as MSCP evolves
-
Bring initiative, judgment, and professional maturity to an environment that is growing quickly
-
Contribute ideas that improve how MSCP scales across multiple sites and clients
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Commerce, Business, Construction Management, or related discipline from a recognized university -
Demonstrated success in industrial, construction, operations, maintenance, or client-facing project environments
-
Experience managing relationships with senior client stakeholders
-
Proven ability to grow accounts, expand scope, or develop business opportunities
-
Strong commercial awareness and professional presence
-
Experience across multiple sites or large industrial operations is an asset
-
Experience matters, but mindset, learning ability, and ceiling for growth matter more than years alone
