We troubleshoot issues real-time by talking directly with staff engineers- this means no salesmen pass through. Constructability, rapid installation with readily available parts are important. We respect the Boots On the Ground – using Foreman preferred methods with minimal changes as is necessary to meet code requirements. Detailing with contingency options approved ahead-of-time is common.

Candidates for this position should be comfortable with being very responsive to our customers and enjoy working in teams to solve complex problems. The ideal applicant will be capable of handling multiple projects. Those engineers who become Project Managers have become shareholders of our company. About the job- Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Do seismic and wind force calculations for efficiency and safety.
- Design piping and duct support systems per code requirements and industry standards
- Be able to provide technical support for innovative mechanical products
- Complete equipment vibration isolation designs
- Design steel frames and manage fabrication logistics
- Complete concrete anchor attachment design
- Respond quickly to customer concerns regarding design flaws in current or new products.
- Be knowledgeable about various design software programs. Ability to use drafting software including AutoCAD and Revit for quality control and minor revisions.
- Communicate structural design solutions through drawings, specifications, computer models, and other design and construction documents. Ability to proficiently identify, interpret and apply relevant codes and standards to engineering designs, including: IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, and jurisdiction specific codes.
- Ability to use basic office software including Google tools, Discord.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a project management whiz
- Have a BS in Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering

Pay: $90,000.00 – $98,000.00 per year
