Our client is seeking a detail-driven Project Coordinator / Permit Specialist to support a large-scale fibre infrastructure project spanning Western Canada. This project involves designing hundreds of kilometers of conduit and fibre connections linking new data centers across rural highway corridors.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, working behind the scenes to keep projects moving, and being part of a growing infrastructure initiative. You’ll play a key role in managing high volumes of permit submissions and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension, offering flexibility to work remotely.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinate and manage high volumes of permit submissions from initiation through approval
  • Complete and submit required documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain and update internal and external tracking systems for permit status
  • Monitor progress and follow up to ensure timely approvals
  • Communicate with design teams when revisions are required and coordinate resubmissions
  • Support minor revisions where possible (CAD experience is an asset)
  • Ensure all permits are tracked, updated daily, and submitted within required timelines

What you bring

  • 1+ year of office-based or project coordination experience
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with tracking, reporting, or coordinating project-related tasks
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • CAD experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
