About

The Role

Axiom Builders is currently seeking a Project Coordinator tojoin our teamon a master plan project, comprising of seven residential towers and extensive commercial component spanning across 9.3 acres. This project is in acentral locationtons of amenties nearby such as skytrain, shopping centre, and 80 acres of nearby culture and recreation. The successful candidate will receivehands-ontraining and professional mentorship from experienced Project Managers, trade partners, and field operations staff.

Under the direction of a Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will ensure timely and accurate flow of information related to project details andsafety protocolsto subtrades, clients/owners, architects, and other project stakeholders. This position provides an opportunity to be actively involved in all aspects of construction documentation control, systems, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, organize, and maintain all project materials including (but not limited to): drawings, specifications, purchase orders, design plans, contract documents, file correspondence;

Prepare change order documentation and tracking of all contracts change orders and purchase orders;

Assist with the sample and shop drawing review process throughout the project including review, distribution, and final approvals electronically;

Report on project progress and productivity tosenior managementand clients;

Ensure compliance with on-site and company-wide health andsafety protocolsand policies;

Communicate with subtrades to assist in budgeting to ensure they understand their scope of work;

Review designs and use knowledge of construction methods to determine the most cost-effective approach.
