Job DetailsWage range:$22.55-$26.64 per hour
Shift structure:Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day

About The RoleCASA Classrooms are CASA’s new model for school-based mental health services. The program addresses the need for services closer to students by bridging a child’s mental health and school needs, through a coordinated approach by a mental health team and a teacher. CASA Classrooms are delivered in partnership with the Government of Alberta, community partners and school divisions.
The Program Support Specialist will:
Greet and support patients and families as the first point of contact at CASA Classrooms.
Provide administrative, clinical and other program support, including staff scheduling and program intake.
Understand CASA Classrooms, where they are located, and where to direct questions and calls to.
Have a basic understanding of external crisis supports.
Understand the referral process.
Complete appointment bookings and confirmation calls.
Complete facility room and Zoom/Webex conference scheduling.
Register new patients.
Photocopy and fax documents as required.
Liaise with couriers and manage interoffice mail/external mail.
Organize supplies inventory and ordering.
Manage patient appointments, schedule in-person meetings, and schedule weekly case conferences and parent group.
Take minutes for team meetings, case conferences and leadership meetings
Qualifications
Medical office assistant and/or business administration certificate/diploma is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel).
High level of accuracy with data entry.
Two years of related administrative experience in a medical office setting.
Conditions of Employment
A satisfactory Criminal Record Check. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or exemption on the basis of a protected legal ground.
