Program Site Supervisor
Location: Fredericton, NB
Job Summary
The Program Site Supervisor provides on‑site leadership for designated & licensed pre-school, after‑school, and/or summer camp programs. Reporting to the Program Director and/or Program Coordinator, this role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, supports staff and volunteers, and maintains high‑quality, safe, and engaging programming for children and youth.
Long term contract. Sick time and vacation time available after probation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as lead staff when assigned, including during the absence of the Program Director
- Ensure compliance with requirements from government, childcare licensing, public health, contracts, and program standards
- Enforce and model Club policies and procedures for staff and volunteers
- Provide strong leadership, staff supervision, and conflict resolution
- Maintain accurate program, membership, and financial records (as applicable)
- Communicate program updates to parents, members, staff, and volunteers
- Support and participate in Club events and special initiatives
- Engage in professional development (attend, plan, and facilitate)
- Participate in program evaluation and reporting (written and oral)
- Work flexible hours to meet program needs
- Complete additional duties and address site issues as directed by management
Qualifications & Requirements
- A clear criminal record (Vulnerable sector/NB), DSD, First-Aid training & References.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
- Strong leadership skills, communication skills, enthusiasm, professionalism and able to work within a team and to manage a team
- Highly knowledgeable in implementing positive child guidance
- Evidence of direct experience in licensed Summer Camp or After school and/or childcare setting.
- Evidence of direct experience in licensed Pre-School, Summer Camp or After school and/or childcare setting.
- Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related university degree from recognized educational institute
- 90‑Hour ECE Certification (asset)
- HIGH FIVE® Training (asset)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and common internet applications
Working Conditions
- Access to transportation to attend multiple sites as required
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
- Able to lift moderately heavy items/equipment needed for activities
- Able to participate in a variety of program related activities such as swimming and running
- Physical stamina to remain enthusiastic and maintain a safe environment for children in various conditions (hot summer weather, cold snowy weather, etc)

Pay: $17.87-$28.54 per hour
