Location: Remote (Candidate must reside in Canada)
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Saskatchewan Time Zone)
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: May 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027 (10 Months)
This role requires strong leadership in managing large-scale, multi-organization IT transformation programs, with a focus on stakeholder alignment, vendor coordination, governance, and successful system delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Lead end-to-end SIS implementation across multiple institutions
- Define program vision, roadmap, and execution strategy
- Manage integrated program plans, schedules, and delivery
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with colleges, government bodies, and vendors
- Drive alignment across multiple stakeholders
- Provide executive-level reporting and communication
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage vendor contracts, SOWs, and deliverables
- Lead contract negotiations and change management
- Ensure vendor accountability and performance
Governance, Risk & Issue Management
- Establish governance frameworks and reporting structures
- Identify, mitigate, and manage risks and issues
- Ensure transparency and accountability across the program
IT System Delivery Oversight
- Oversee SIS (Thesis Elements) implementation
- Manage data migration and system integrations
- Ensure smooth transition from legacy systems to SaaS platforms
Financial Management
- Manage program budget, forecasts, and funding
- Track financial performance and milestone-based payments
- Ensure financial accountability and reporting
Required Qualifications
Mandatory
- Must reside in Canada and work in Saskatchewan time zone
- Strong Program Management experience (large IT programs)
- Experience leading multi-organization / multi-stakeholder programs
- Proven expertise in:
- Stakeholder management
- Vendor & contract management
- Risk and governance frameworks
- Budget and financial oversight
