North Star Windows & Doors is seeking a highly motivated individual with a safety mindset and commitment to growth to join our Production Team.
Key Responsibilities
Carefully select appropriate materials; review requirements, and observe safe work practices when stacking extrusion profiles; other various tasks as assigned.
Follow direction of leadership to ensure proper handling of materials
Continuously verify quality through inspection and measurement
Wear proper PPE and follow safe work practices at all times
Critical Skills
Previous experience with general labour/construction/manufacturing an asset (6 months-1 year preferred)
Willing to train, but must have a great attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to commit to our team
Standing for 9-hr, lifting/maneuvering of products required (medium lifting); handling of materials (manual dexterity required)
Must be safety-conscious
Requirements
Must be eligible to work in Canada and 18-yrs of age or older
Must be available to work some OT/Saturday hours as required (up to 48 hours per week).
