Professional Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate Jobs in Calgary at Lancashire Distribution
Lancashire Distribution, a wholesale building material supplier to the cabinet industry and retail lumber yards, is looking for a delivery driver (Class 3Q License)/warehouse associate to operate a flatbed delivery truck and warehouse duties. The ideal candidate will possess wide ranging skills in material handling and be able to adapt to constant changes in their work environment. Self motivation a great attitude, work ethic and customer service are essential for this position.
Responsibilities
Drive the freightliner flatbed delivery truck to in town and out of town customers.
Load/ unload trucks of finish material by forklift while exercising attention to detail to avoid damage to product.
Safely operate forklifts with carrying capacity of 6000 lbs, forklift training will be provided if required.
Manually stage sheet good, laminate, hardware and lumber orders
Complete weigh bills and fill out shipping documents accurately
Accurately ship and receive incoming and outgoing freight.
Accurately product code incoming freight
Participate in regularly scheduled cycle counts
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of driving experience and working in a warehouse environment with building material experience. Must provide a clean driving abstract and experience letter.
Able to lift 50 lbs by hand is required
Must be reliable and punctual and wear ppe as required by company policy manual
Excellent communication and numeracy skills required
Position details
Regular hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm (some overtime may be required)
Compensation dependant on candidates experience and qualifications
Benefit package available to qualified candidates after successful completion or mandatory probation period.
