Production Worker (Rotating Shift) Jobs in Surrey at Aqua-Pak Industries Ltd
Aqua-Pak Industries Ltd is currently looking for a Production Worker to join our team at our Surrey, BC Plant
This position is on a 2 week rotating shift of Day Shift, Afternoon Shift and Graveyard Shift. Some overtime and weekend work may be required .

Job Description
Remove, inspect and pack moulded product
Clear product jams from machines and restart equipment as required
Make minor adjustments as instructed by the Charge Hand
Stack finished products on pallets by product type
Ensure machine downtime is minimized
Report all problems and concerns related to equipment and facility to the Charge Hand.
Clean and maintain an organized production area – including production equipment
Report product defects and excessive scrap to the Charge Hand
Report product machine malfunctions to the Charge Hand.
Ensure all scrap is broken-up, bagged and removed from the production area
Ensure products are correctly identify as per customer’s requirements
Complete production forms and reports
Assist in loading, unloading, and moving EPS blocks and finished products if necessary
Coordinate product dimensions and specification with the cutter
Label finished product as per standard specifications
Identify and ensure defective products are separated
Ensure proper quality and quantities of packaging of products as specify. Ensure all EPS trimming are segregated properly as per specifications and moved to the regrind section
Operate material handling equipment safely.
Other job-related duties and projects, as assigned
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent.
Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production issues.
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment would be an asset.
Great attention to detail with the ability to be accurate and thorough.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively,
Basic math skills. tactfully and professionally to internal and external stakeholders.

Pay: From $19.18 per hour
