mWAVE Industries LLC is hiring for a Production Technician to join our team. This is an on-site position based in Windham, Maine. mWAVE is a leading global provider of innovative custom and commercial microwave antenna solutions and millimeter wave products.
Established in 2004, our antennas are recognized worldwide for robust designs and reliability. mWAVE is part of Alaris Holdings Ltd, a global technology company with engineering and manufacturing locations in the US, UK, Germany, Finland, and South Africa.
The Production Technician is responsible for helping the production and engineering teams build high quality mWAVE antennas. We seek an assembler who will be a flexible and dynamic player on our team.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
· Performing assembly tasks under the direction of the Production Manager
· Reading engineering blue prints to perform item assemblies (we are willing to train)
· Assisting other production team members with necessary assemblies
· Helping mWAVE maintain good inventory management standards
· Managing ad-hoc queries from other departments (e.g. Testing, Engineering & Sales)
Job Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
- High School diploma preferred with some basic algebra and trig skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work standing or sitting for long periods
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measurer plus other measuring tools
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills
- A good attitude with a willingness to learn new things
- Production assembly experience is preferred
- Knowledge of RF Connectors, PCB, & Electronic assemblies is a plus
- Fork lift driving experience is also a plus
