Job Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec. We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor at our Woodstock plant. Reporting to the Plant manager, the Production Supervisor will be mainly responsible for excellence in Health & Safety, Productivity, Quality, Maintenance and Housekeeping for the site.
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the hourly employees Participate in Health and Safety activities Lead daily and weekly meetings Manage work schedules and hours Participate in Management of Maintenance program Organize mechanical shutdown activities Implement/develop actions for improvement of Company KPIs in Safety and Productivity Ensure site is kept at set Housekeeping standards Help with inventories Purchase material for production Meet suppliers Ensure discipline in the plant
REQUIREMENTS
College Diploma in a relevant technical field Minimum of 2 years of supervision experience in a manufacturing environment Be available to work on different schedules
