Job Title: Production Specialist- 1st Stage Interior Carpentry

Position Description: The 1st Stage Interior Carpentry Production Specialist is responsible for the initial interior build-out and structural carpentry work of mobile medical coaches. This role focuses on framing, subflooring, wall construction, cabinetry bases, and structural interior preparation to support downstream production departments. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced working with construction materials and power tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential job duties include but are not limited to:

· Perform initial interior framing and carpentry installation inside mobile medical units

· Install subfloors, wall supports, backing, and structural interior components

· Measure, cut, and assemble wood, composite, and aluminum materials according to specifications

· Read and interpret production drawings, layouts, and work orders

· Prepare units for electrical, finishing, and installation teams

· Install cabinetry bases, mounting supports, partitions, and structural components

· Operate saws, drills, routers, nail guns, and other carpentry tools safely and efficiently

· Ensure all work meets company quality standards and production timelines

· Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout production

· Communicate material shortages, quality concerns, or production delays to supervisors

· Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards

· Frequently bend, kneel, lift, climb, and work in confined interior spaces

· Maintain a strong attendance record

· Work in a safe manner following all safety policies while performing job duties.

· Provide regular guidance to, and supports training of, less experienced production operators.

· Partner with production leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and champion positive changes within the production process.

· Ability to use a variety of basic hand tools and power tools that are common with construction.

· Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge/Skills:

· Basic knowledge of carpentry, construction, and fabrication techniques

· Ability to read tape measures and production drawings accurately

· Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power equipment

· Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

· Ability to work independently and within a team environment

· Good time management and ability to meet production deadlines

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor

· Effective communication and teamwork skills

· Basic math and measurement skills

Experience:

· 1-3 years of manufacturing, finish carpentry, RV, trailer, modular, or related production experience preferred

· Experience with mobile medical, RV, or specialty vehicle manufacturing is a plus

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

· Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching

· Ability to work in a production environment and within confined trailer spaces as needed

· Comfortable operating power tools and production equipment

Additional requirements:

This is a full-time position. Employees are expected to work a general schedule of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Employees may be required to work beyond the standard schedule to meet the deliverables and expectations of the role.

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
