This is a very exciting time for the team as we continue to grow and expand! The main challenge is to stay organized in a fast-paced environment and maintain proper and efficient operation of all pasteurizing, blending, separating, and product transfer systems.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • You are able to do basic math functions.

  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.

  • You are knowledgeable about HACCP guidelines and CIP programs.


EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma and/or relevant dairy experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a regulated dairy or food manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of sanitary habits, CIP systems of all tanks, line circuits, and associated equipment.


THINGS YOU WILL DO…
  • Closely monitor the dairy production process and follow Standard Operating Procedures for batching and processing products.

  • Blends, mixes, and prepares products for production.

  • Operate and understand all CIP programs.

  • Deliver product to fillers to avoid downtime on production lines.

  • Secure necessary connections to tanks

  • Operate all processors.

  • Coordinate, report and notify the foreman /quality if there is a deviation.

  • Completes paperwork and records.

  • Follows all company policies and procedures regarding GMP’s, SOP’s and Quality standards.

  • Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.

  • Must be able to work in a physical environment (walking, bending, stooping, twisting, standing, up/downstairs) for long periods of time.

  • Frequently exposed to wet, cold, hot or humid conditions/temperatures associated with a manufacturing environment, moving mechanical parts, forklifts

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • May have some exposure to cleaning chemicals.

  • Perform corrective machine adjustments.

  • Record production information

  • Clean machines and immediate work areas

  • Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.

  • Check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
