Reports to: Production Manager
Overall Purpose:
This position prepares and packages spreads and dips according to recipes using
procedures detailed in the production manual while ensuring food safe protocols are maintained.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Washing, preparing, and portioning ingredients
2. Packaging food products
3. Moving and lifting food containers
4. Washing and cleaning workstations and equipment
5. Preparing packages of food product for shipping
6. Stacking products onto pallets and hand-wrapping them
7. Updating log sheets per quality assurance instructions
8. Filing documents and records in food safety systems
9. Lifting ingredients from storage to production and finished goods
Working Conditions:
Requires standing for extended periods, moving at a fast pace, ability to bend, and ability to frequently lift 10 to 50 lbs.

Knowledge:
Food Safety protocols
Food process experience an asset
Skills/Abilities:
Postive sunny attitude
Ability to read and understand English, follow production sheets, and follow recipes and other written instructions.
Ability to do basic math calculations
Ability to communicate well with others and work in a team environment
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy
Competitive spirit
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
Completion of high school an asset
Possession of a valid Food Safe 1 Certificate an asset
Experience:
One year or more of experience working in a food production position is an asset

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
