About the Position:

Out of the Blue Designs (OOTBD) is seeking a team player who enjoys working in a multi-faceted, fast paced work environment. This position will provide support to a variety of areas in our Production Department. Order coordination, embroidery, screen printing, cad and digital printing are all areas our successful candidate will be supporting. At OOTBD we endeavor to build a diverse production team that is cross trained and has the ability to jump into any area that needs support. This means the opportunity is exciting and ever changing.

Professional Requirements:
Motivated self starter..
Ability to effectively communicate, and build relationships with internal staff and occasionally customers.
Ability to take on wide variety of tasks with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Critical thinking; problem solving with a mechanical aptitude.
Tech savvy (proficient using Microsoft computer applications i.e. Word and Excel); ability to quickly learn dedicated software program and have strong written skills.
Team player; strong organizational skills; good attention to detail and able to work independently in a fast paced work environment to meet and co-ordinate tight deadlines.
Physically able to work on your feet all day and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to take on new projects as required.
Job Term/Compensation:
Employment is permanent, full time and Monday to Friday. Current business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.;Production hours are7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In Victoria our 7500 square foot warehouse includes corporate offices, 2000 square feet of sample showroom and our in house production facility. Controlling our in house embroidery and silk screening departments gives OOTBD a competitive advantage which provides the ability to control our production schedule and monitor quality.

Salary: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
