Position: Production Assembler

Please note that only candidates located in Calgary, Alberta, that hold a valid Canadian work permit will be considered for this position. We appreciate your understanding and compliance with this requirement.
Responsibilities:
Assemble lighting products according to provided specifications and guidelines.
Read and interpret installation instructions, guides, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly of products.
Learn and develop a comprehensive understanding of all company products.
Utilize various hand tools and machinery tools, including soldering equipment, cutting tools, drills, and other necessary tools to assemble and modify products as required.
Perform modifications such as cutting, painting, drilling holes, and other tasks to customize products as needed.
Conduct quality control checks and testing on all assembled light fixtures to ensure they meet company standards.
Prepare and send products out for painting according to established procedures.
Package assembled products securely and accurately for shipping to customers.
Identify, remove, or report defective products and equipment to appropriate personnel.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Adhere to workplace safety protocols and report any unsafe activities or conditions.
Participate in year-end inventory counts to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.
Assist team members in their work areas and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, guides, and specifications accurately.
Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery tools, including soldering equipment and drills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
Basic knowledge of painting techniques and other modifications.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing job requirements.
