Become a vital part of product testing as a Shop Operator focused on quality and safety in material handling. This role involves working in the Product Testing & QC department to execute treatment plans effectively.
Reporting to the Lead of Product Testing & QC, the Shop Operator is responsible for ensuring safe preparation and storage of materials. You’ll work directly with lab mills and reactors, involving careful monitoring and documentation of all treatment processes while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify materials and maintain traceability from storage to treatment
• Execute approved treatment plans accurately
• Complete digital treatment records and performance logs
• Ensure cleanliness of lab equipment to prevent contamination
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
Requirements:
• Familiarity with industrial lab equipment
• Attention to detail for effective recordkeeping
• Basic mechanical skill set for equipment upkeep
• Lab safety training is required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
