Full job description
Working directly with one of Wandrian’s main brands, ItaliaTours, you will be our point person for overseeing and managing all tours & activities’ product inventory and distribution across multiple direct & reseller/sales channels. You will also be responsible for having a pulse on the market, our competitors, and providing feedback ensuring that we’re offering the most competitive tours & activities on the market.
ItaliaTours (www.italiatours.com) specializes in tours and activities in Italy. We are providing a full spectrum/360° solution to travelers to Italy – sustainable/responsible and purposeful travel.

Who you are
5+ years experience in the Travel/Tourism industry
Experience with inventory management systems
Deep understanding of the country of Italy
Strong skills in using and manipulating data (OTA platforms and reservations systems – knowledge of Fareharbor a plus!)
Sales oriented understanding of how your role contributes to our annual sales targets
High degree of organizational skills & attention to detail
Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
Adaptable, always growing and improving
Not afraid to make mistakes, and accountable to learn from them
Recognizes the importance of teamwork, seeks win-win outcomes when collaborating with others
Open to new ideas, and willing to experiment
Excellent English (oral and written), with a talent for writing compelling copy
What you will do
Manage product journey: from development to launch to regular maintenance
Manage all inventory in our Operations Management System (product set-up and maintenance, API connections)
Ensure that seasonality updates and notifications are updated and rolled out in the proper channels
Manage availability, content and price accuracy across all channels to maximize and optimize product placement and exceeding sales targets
Maintain collaborative relationships with current and future distributors/suppliers
Provide regular sales insight – monitoring competitors, new products, industry feedback
Monitor market trends and how they influence upcoming product development
Managing and maintaining our media library, updates, sourcing
Develop new products from ideas to experiences
Developing effective and scalable solutions to improve process efficiencies
Represent ItaliaTours at trade shows and industry events on occasion
