Job Summary:
You will help drive and manage key product features and enhancements from cradle-to-grave. You will work with our clients and all internal teams, from operations and engineering to all client-facing teams in a cross-functional setting. You will conduct market research, analyze user feedback to identify key problems to solve, then conceptualize and implement effective solutions.
Essential Functions:
Articulate clear product requirements based on customer intelligence, business needs, and strategic directions.
Conceptualize, scope and wireframe product features that effectively and efficiently solve complex problems.
Liaise and manage roll-out between business/client-facing, marketing, and engineering teams.
Continually refine and prioritize product feature backlogs and sprints.
Define and monitor success metrics/KPIs to ensure the product goals will be achieved.
Qualifications and Experience:
University/College education in related fields.
3+ years of experience in a product-focused role.
Knowledge of fundamental product development lifecycle and concepts including but not limited to: Agile/Scrum principles, Wireframing, Voice of Customer and Research design, Go-To-Market and release planning, Product marketing, KPI and Success Metric design, Roadmap pruning.
Knowledge and/or experience with B2B ERP software platforms, products or engineering technologies.
Experience in the following industries or platforms is an asset-
Loan servicing/origination
Legal conveyancing or case management
CRM, financial services, payments, or accounting
Mortgage lending/broking
