Project Overview Insight Global is looking for an Intermediate Product Designer to join one of Canada’s largest athletic apparel retailers, located in Vancouver, BC on a 6-month contract + extensions. In this role, you will be joining the Create Connections team and be partnering with a Senior Designer to support the design for the Login Experience teams on the company’s main web shop.
This role requires someone who is a strong communicator, presenter and story teller that can convey complex and vague ideas effectively.
Conduct User Research and work closely with a Product Manager Design solutions for a wide range of problems based on qualitative and/ or quantitative analytics
Clearly identify opportunities and communicate design rationale to
cross-functional teams
and stakeholders, and be open to their feedback
Design and develop prototypes to iterate on solutions with the rest of the team, or to leverage in user interviews/usability tests
Apply and champion
design thinking
principles Partner with the research team to plan, design and in some cases, conduct research to inform your design decisions
Be a
collaborative
