Our client, in the Produce Distribution industry is seeking a Heavy Packer to join their team. As a Heavy Packer, you will be part of the Heavy Production Team supporting the distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have physical stamina, effective communication skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Produce Packer
Location: Nanaimo BC
Pay Range: $19 Per Hour
Shift: Mon
– Fri
What’s the Job?
- Repetitively lift and move items weighing up to 50+ lbs
- Organize finished products on pallets and process raw materials using food processing machinery
- Monitor product quality vigilantly to ensure standards are met
- Assist with product changeovers and clean breaks at various workstations
- Support the supervisor in preparing accurate production records
What’s Needed?
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to perform repetitive motions safely
- CSA approved boots
