Join our dynamic Recycling Center team as a Processor, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring efficient and safe operations within our environmentally focused facility. In this energetic position, you’ll handle the sorting, processing, and transportation of recyclable materials using a variety of heavy equipment. Your proactive approach will help us maintain a clean, organized, and productive environment while supporting sustainability initiatives. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in recycling operations and heavy equipment handling.
Duties
- Operate forklift, skid-steer, and/or backhoe to move and process recyclable materials efficiently.
- Sort and clean recyclable materials to meet quality standards, ensuring proper separation for processing.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to load and unload materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by sweeping, cleaning, and organizing materials regularly.
- Assist with sanitation efforts to uphold safety and environmental compliance standards.
- Support the safe operation of heavy equipment through routine inspections and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely processing of recyclables.
Experience
- Prior experience operation of forklift, skid-steer, and/or backhoe is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and sanitation practices is advantageous.

Pay: From $16.45 per hour
